Yep they look the same to me too...

Generation whY

I stumbled upon a news article on Yahoo.com that made me stop and question, what is wrong with our generation. The name of the article was 'Top 10 Reasons Not to Buy a Car- Generation Y isn't buying automobiles and you shouldn't either'. The article gives wrongfully opinionated reasons cars are going "out of style" and Gen Yer's are going car- free. The writer said in the article that this generation of 30 year olds and younger see cars as a negative more than a positive. According to the writer we (Generation Y) see cars as pollutive and excesive rather than sexy or as a powerful status symbol.

First off, I think what a lot of these people don't understand is that the United States has the strictest pollution free in EPA standards, which is much higher than any other country. Technology has greatly improved over the years making cars very green as far as pollution is concerned. Other countries don't have regulations for cars built and driven there and the pollution in those places is great because of this. Guess the people believing this didn't do their homework and just believed what they were told by the over extreme 'Green' community.

I care for the environment and all but I much rather buy a car I love and would be proud of rather than a car that is ugly and gets good gas mileage. For instance the Prius, I see these cars and laugh oh and don't even get me started on Smart cars...I always look to see if a bunch of clowns are going to squeeze out of this car when it parks somewhere. Have you every wondered what would happen if a mid-sized sedan hits a smart car? Even if hit at a low speed, if your in a smart car be ready to meet your maker!

   Would you rather have this.....

2011 Chevrolet Corvette - Still Building Rockets

America still builds Rockets

For over 50 years Corvette has earned the title as America's sports car. Chevrolet Continues that legacy with the new 2011 Chevrolet Corvette.

During these difficult economical times it's nice to know Chevrolet is still building affordable all american made sports cars. To promote its newest thoroughbred Chevrolet released a commercial that speaks to us all. The Commercial showcases Corvette engineers assembling the cars making it look equivalent to rockets and their engineers. Comparing the 2011 Corvette to a rocketship is a ingenious move, its an inspiring commercial that makes you proud to be an American. The 2011 Corvette may not send you off into space, but get behind the wheel of one and you'll feel like it's possible.

It seems the commercial is sending a message to the rest of the world, we were the leaders in space travel and with the Corvette we are the leaders in building some of the greatest sports cars ever. Chevrolet has once again produced an amazing Sports car with an exciting marketing campaign to match.
